Title of the project: Developing the processing line for fruit and vegetables for the introduction of new products, measures for marketing and directing products, and the introduction of a mobile market place.
As part of the project, equipment have been purchased in cooperation with the Talsi District Partnership and the Rural Support Service to enable the farm to develop and compete on the market for small producers A website has been created with an Internet shop that can offer the customer a view and familiarity as a farm, its available products remotely, and order and settle online A new van with a temperature-keeping facility has been purchased for regular deliveries of products, enabling the product to reach the final consumer quickly without affecting their weather conditions. A cold chamber has been established in the production room where we are able to ensure a temperature for the product until loading to the car, until delivery, respectively. I In this way, the farm shall be able to keep the product as fresh as possible from the time of packaging to the final consumer As part of the project, the farm has achieved that it meets all the requirements of the PVD as a small producer.
As part of the project, equipment was also purchased to allow the farm to develop new products, such as various dried products – dried fruit, vegeta, packaging of fresh vegetables in a vacuum, etc
